Stoneham & Mont-Sainte-Anne Break Record on season passes sales
Quebec, October 21st, 2010 – Stoneham and Mont-Sainte-Anne reached a record number of members with a total increase of 35% for Pass Holders of both resorts. This exceptional increase is an undeniable indicator of a great success for our 2011 Season Pass Campaign.
A year fulfilled with innovations
Significant investments have been made to both resorts this year. Mont-Sainte-Anne’s Gondola was entirely renovated, and the beginner’s area now has the longest “magic carpet” lift in the region. Stoneham also gets a “magic carpet” lift. The idea of improving the beginner areas, where all the skiable terrain has been revised, was to make the learning experience much easier and enjoyable for anyone who wants to learn. In addition, the Summit Chalet has been completely redone. With consistent high quality snow surface and conditions provided on a yearly basis, this is all reflecting in this year’s remarquable success.
Thinking outside the box
Mont-Sainte-Anne and Stoneham Mountain Resort 2011 Campaign has been very creative. A sample of the refurbished Gondola cabin had good exposure at public events. The campaign videos were showing people water skiing and wakeboarding on the Saint-Laurent River, all dressed up in their winter attire! Needless to say, they’re innovating.
A place of choice – either for travellers and locals
Known worldwide as a great ski destination, both resorts stay a ski area of choice, especially for locals. “We are thrilled that this many Quebec City area skiers continue to choose us for their winter membership as their ski area of choice. We are looking forward to welcoming them to the ski slopes at our anticipated resorts openings, scheduled for November 13th at Mont-Sainte-Anne, and November 26th at Stoneham.” says Guy Desrosiers, Eastern regional Vice-President and Regional Manager – Stoneham and Mont-Sainte-Anne.
