(Montreal — December 18, 2007) Bula, the largest snow sports accessory brand in North America has attracted one of snowboarding’s top talents to its growing team roster – 2007 X-Games Halfpipe Champion Steve Fisher. Fisher will wear custom Bula headwear during competition and promotional appearances and his limited edition Bula pro model will also be available to consumers at retail for the 2008 — 2009 retail season.

“We’re dedicated to supporting the snowboarding community and building an A-list athlete roster in this channel, said JF DuRocher, director of marketing and team manager of Bula. “Steve is at the top of his game and we’re psyched to have him riding for us — beyond his incredible talent, he always has fun, which is an incredible representation of Bula’s brand ethos and what we’re all about.

As a snowboarder for 16 years, Steve turned pro only six years ago and is coming off one of his best seasons yet with four first place finishes including titles at the 2007 FIS World Cup, X-Games and Grand Prix. A native of St. Louis Park, MN., he strapped on his first board at age eight, began participating in regional events and made it to the USSA nationals within his first year of competition. In 2002, Steve was asked by US Snowboarding to forerun that year’s Olympic halfpipe event and be a part of US Snowboarding.

Fisher joins fellow boarders JF Fortin, Brent Meyer, Matts Kuliser and Guillaumea Beaudoin on the Bula snowboard team. Bula also supports the industry through numerous events including the SMF Tour and Jeep King of the Mountain Series.
