High Cascade Snowboard Camp in conjunction with Transworld Media and Brooks Institute of Photography proudly present the world?s first intensive snowboard photography workshop. High Cascade Photo Workshop, in partnership with international award winning photographer, Trevor Graves will welcome aspiring professional photographers to Mt. Hood, April 25th through 28th.

Students will learn about weather conditions, working with professional riders, selling images to the media and other key issues particular to the snowboard photography industry. During the many hours spent shooting on snow, participants will focus on advancing their technical and creative skills shooting both freeride and freestyle snowboarding. Film will be processed on a daily basis and returned in time for evening criticism sessions. Classroom sessions will cover the wide range of skills required by anyone aiming for the top ranks of snowboard photography. All students will spend time during the workshop shooting course-side at a professional snowboard event, Vegetate, which attracts top riders and will be taking place simultaneously at Mount Hood Meadows. Other on-snow sessions will take place on the slopes and terrain parks of Mount Hood Meadows and Timberline Resorts. High Cascade has contracted a number of pro-riders to serve as talent.

During both on-snow and class room sessions Graves will be supported by renowned photographers Jeff Curtes and Kevin Zacher, and by teaching assistants from the Brooks Institute. The world famous Brooks Institute has been fundamental in devising the curriculum for the course and in providing ongoing consulting. The price for the workshop which runs from the afternoon of Thursday 25th through the evening of Sunday 28th April will be $1295. This inclusive price covers all accommodation, meals, lift tickets, instruction, snowboard professionals and film processing. Students provide their own film and photo-equipment.
