With all the parks rolling, pipe sessions happening and a number of good powder days under our belt it’s easy to forget about the late and scary early season. With November a far and distant memory, December came in swinging with a series of combo punches that left our slopes covered in a blanket of natural snow blessing Mammoth with pow shots and large jumps.

While the season snowfall total of 85 inches and snow depth of 36-48 inches is a far cry from previous years, it’s allowed us to build our superpipe, big jumps in Main park and a poppy three pack in South Park. Rails and boxes are scattered all over the mountain and riders like Mason Aguire, Eddy Wall, Danny Kass, Jake Blauvelt and many more have been spotted spinning like tornadoes across the parks. Stay tuned for more updates and keep checking mammothmountain.com for the daily park or powder photo.
