Naya Canadian natural spring water has signed Ross Powers to be part of the Team Naya ’99 lineup and bottles of the water will carry his picture on their packaging beginning this summer. Naya will also sport The Waterboy’s Bobby Boucher’s image on an estimated 50-million bottles from June to October. Additionally there will be a national consumer sweepstakes offer included on the label for one lucky customer to win a trip for four to see an all-star professional football game in Hawaii, deluxe accomodations, along with an opportunity to see The Waterboy movie with Team Naya NFL players.

Powers, along with more than a dozen other Team Naya athletes including Sergei Fedorov (NHL), Lisa Leslie (WNBA), Zach Thomas (NFL), and Bobby Boucher (The Waterboy) will have their photos featured on the label of bottles of Naya, as well as their success stories of what makes them “Hungry for Life” featured underneath the label.

Considered snowboarding’s first child prodigy, Powers became the yougest National Champion in the history of the sport when he was a mere freshman in high school. He has won the last three National Championships in halfpipe. His in 1998 victories include the ESPN Winter X-Games, CBS Masters of the Board, Copper Mountain Boarder Battle, U.S. National Champion, and a bronze medal in the Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.
