Ride Shakedown Snowboard Event Coming to Washington
The Summit at Snoqualmie to Host North American Pro Snowboard Competition March 12-13, 2010

WHAT//

One of North America’s top snowboard events, the Ride Shakedown, is crossing the border for its U.S. debut this winter. More than 40 of the world’s top pro men and women snowboarders along with 80 ams will bring their A-game to the Pacific Northwest to compete for a $35,000 purse and connect with their fans. March 12-13, 2010.

The RIDE Shakedown, held at Mont-Saint-Sauveur, Quebec for the past eight winters, is one of the snowboard industry’s most exciting and anticipated competitions, drawing the biggest names in snowboarding and more than 20,000 fans to the two-day festival. The inaugural U.S. edition of the RIDE Shakedown big air and rail competition format will be held in the Cascade Mountains in front of Summit at Snoqualmie located 45 miles east of Seattle. It will be followed April 2-3 in Quebec with the 9th Canadian edition of the event.
