Alli Sports, a division of the NBC Sports Group, and Red Bull Media House announce today their partnership with Casio G’zOne, an inaugural sponsor of the Red Bull Signature Series. Casio G’zOne continues to grow in the action sports market with the debut of their G’zOne Commando, a mobile device that can withstand the conditions of the active, outdoor lifestyle epitomized in the progressive sports events of the Red Bull Signature Series. As the official handset of the Signature Series, Casio G’zOne will also serve as the presenting sponsor for five Red Bull Signature Series broadcasts.

As part of the fully integrated package, Casio G’zOne will receive commercial units, in show branding within all 35 hours of programming, activation opportunities at multiple events, marketing and digital benefits and exclusive content features in all shows. The exclusive content produced for broadcast will be featured through their G’zOne ‘Stomped Moment of the Day,’ awarded to an athlete that solidly lands a seemingly impossible trick. Recent ‘Stomped’ recipients include Gigi Ruf at Supernatural and Sean Pettit at Cold Rush.
The G’zOne Commando can be immersed in water at the depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes, absorb the shock of a 1.5 meter drop and withstand the elements, from rain and dust to salt fog, humidity and solar radiation. Along with physical security, the G’zOne Commando also keeps any stored information fully protected. Exchange Active Sync allows users to set up SSL data encryption, password protection, remote wipe options and more. In addition, the Android Operating System makes the phone fully customizable. The device includes G’zGEAR applications designed to help users embrace an outdoor lifestyle, such as the Earth Compass, Walking Counter, Adventure Training, thermometer and ocean tide tracker.

The upcoming Red Bull X-Fighters series will feature Verizon athlete Todd Potter. X-Fighters will air on NBC Sports Network on Saturday, May 12 at 9 pm PT and re-aired on Saturday, May 26 on NBC at 11 am PT. The G’zOne Commando is available exclusively on Verizon Wireless, allowing for the opportunity to promote Verizon-sponsored athletes throughout the Series.
