Stamford, CT – February 3, 2005. OLN’s Winter Gravity Games presented by Saturn announces the addition of two events to the schedule, which will take place from March 3rd – 6th at Copper Mountain. A Frisco Rail Jam and a Freestyle Snowmobile demonstration will complement the competitive events of the Winter Gravity Games. OLN will televise the Winter Gravity Games March 27th 9:30 PM – 11:30 PM and March 28th – 30th 9:00 – 11:00 PM ET/PT and include highlights from these rail-grinding, high-flying events.

A crowd and athlete favorite, the Frisco Rail Jam will take place Friday night and will bring street skateboarding-influenced tricks to the lighted streets of downtown Frisco, CO. The snowboarders and skiers will come together to throw their whole bag of tricks, while being judged on style, difficulty, landings and overall impression on the Gravity rail.

Throughout the weekend OLN’s Winter Gravity Games spectators will be treated to freestyle snowmobile demonstrations by “The Godfather of Freestyle Snowboarding,” Jay Quinlan and his elite snowmobile team. Quinlan, a Colorado native, is a 2000 Winter Gravity Games gold medalist and the first man ever to complete a backflip on a snowmobile in competition. Quinlan and his demo group will perform in the spectator village Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, giving Gravity Games spectators plenty of chances to see Freestyle Snowmobiling up-close and personal.

OLN’s Winter Gravity Games is a major extension of the franchise, following the 2004 Gravity Games, which were held in Cleveland, OH from Sept. 15th – 19th and televised on OLN. The event featured 121 athletes and more than 125,000 fans in attendance.

The 2005 Winter Gravity Games will include world-class competition, a festival village featuring Gravity Games sponsors and partners, and family-oriented interactive areas. Please log on to OLNTV.com for more information.
