Santa Fe Springs, CA–Vans, Inc., the premier Southern California-based alternative sport and lifestyle footwear, snowboard boot, binding, and apparel manufacturer, has announced the final dates and locations of the inaugural Vans/G-Shock Triple Crown of Snowboarding.

The three-event tour begins December 3-6 with the Mountain Dew Classic in Breckenridge, Colorado. The second stop, the Vans Championships, takes place in Lech, Austria on February 4-7, and on March 4-7, the tour culminates at the G-Shock North American Championships held at Sierra at Tahoe, California.

With a total prize purse at $350,000, each event will feature multiple disciplines including big-air, snowboard-cross, and halfpipe. Each stop of the tour is an ëopen eventí allowing all riders the opportunity to compete in the Vans/G-Shock Triple Crown of Snowboarding series.

Each stop of the series will receive a dedicated one-hour show, airing at least three times on the ESPN networks in over 180 countries to over 200 million households worldwide. In addition, a half-hour compilation show featuring the “Best of the Triple Crown of Snowboarding” will include series highlights, airing in the same distribution channels.

The inaugural Vans/G-Shock Triple Crown of Snowboarding continues Vansí history of supporting professional snowboarding, including title sponsorship of both the 1997 ISF World Championships and the 1998 ISF Masters World Cup.

Malibu, California-based LXD, Inc. will serve as event promoter and executive producer of the television programs for the two U.S. events and Vision, based in London, will produce the European contest.
