Build your own snowboard instructional tour.

PowderJet Snowboards announces the start of the Speed of Sawdust 2017/2018 – Build your own snowboard instructional tour.

Vermont based PowderJet Snowboards announced the first dates in their popular "Speed of Sawdust" Build Your Own Snowboard Workshops for the 2017/2018 season.  Initial locations are Ragged Mountain, NH; Salt Lake City, UT; Long Island, NY; Jackson Hole, WY; Dover, VT; and Portland, ME, with more to be announced in the coming weeks. During the two day class, participants hand shape and sand a PowderJet blank that has been built to their specs, with steel edges and PTex base, and finally, add custom graphics and artwork for a truly one of a kind, all conditions board. Anyone interested in getting deep in the design and construction of their own board, while spending a cool weekend with like minded riders should contact PowderJet. The first class in the series is being held August 19 at Ragged Mountain. Registration is currently open on the PowderJet website and there are limited spaces still available.

"I love doing these classes more than anything. The people who come are all passionate riders, with so many cool and unique perspectives on the sport. It's a ton of fun, and by the end of the class, we've all become a little family. It's rad to see everyone's personality shine through in their finished snowboards. We've gotten so many requests to bring the classes out west, and we're stoked to have the opportunity to put this tour together" founder Jesse Loomis says.  "We're psyched to bring these classes every place people request them."

Founded in Vermont in 2009, PowderJet Snowboards builds high performance wooden snowboards on a custom basis. The boards are hand built from start to finish and designed to shred in any condition.  In 2014 PowderJet became the first snowboard company to offer board building classes, teaching workshops at their shop in Vermont, as well as locations around the country. About as far from the mainstream industry as you can get, PowderJet is the future primitive snowboard company.
