The 5th Annual Pink Ribbon Jibbin’
A Rail Jam to Benefit Breast Cancer Research
Cranmore Mountain is once again teaming up with Dover, NH snowboard shop, Fire On The Mountain, for the 5th Annual Pink Ribbon Jibbin’. The February 21st rail jam will benefit Boarding For Breast Cancer, an organization whose mission is to promote breast cancer awareness through snowboarding.
A minimum donation of $40 is required to compete in the event, but participants are encouraged to fundraise as much as possible. A fundraising form can be found at www.burningboards.com, www.eastcoastsnowboarding.com , and www.embasi.us.
Registration will be in Skimobile Station on February 21 from 1:00-4:00pm and competitors will also need a lift ticket. Threedom Pass holders can participate for $25.
The rail jam starts at 5pm at the bottom of the Darkside Terrain Park.
Sponsors for the event include Fire on the Mountain and Burning Boards, K2 Ski and Snowboard, Boarding for Breast Cancer, Giro, Smith, Burton Snowboards, Red Bull, Dakine, Embasi, and East Coast Snowboarding Magazine. Prizes will be awarded to the top placing males and females during the awards ceremony in the Eating House at 8:30pm.
