Pat McCarthy has been a fixture on the professional snowboarding scene forsome time. He started riding in 1989 at Stevens Pass, Washington and soonbecame inspired by the terrain at Mt. Baker to make the move and become apermanent local. Not your typical contest guy, Pat craves the Northwestbackcountry style of snowboarding, whether it’s accessing it by a snowmobileor hiking out of a lift.
Patrick spent last season filming for Mack Dawg’s People and counts thatcrew as some of his favorite people to ride with. Pat will work with theMack Dawg movie again in the 2007-2008 season and also plans to visit Turkeyand Spain on editorial trips. He was also one of the only riders to have aphoto printed in every single major US magazine last month.
