Palmer Website and Team update
Portland, Oregon (Aug 12) – After leading the industry last year in website technology, Palmer has re-launched palmersnowboards.com combiningdynamically driven technology with a super clean graphical interface. Results are an easy-to navigate website highlighting Palmer’s product lineand new team.
On that note, Palmer is pleased to also announce its USA lineup for the 04/05 Team. This roster is packed full of talent and love for the shred. Palmer riders choose Palmer in large part for the high quality rides that the company produces. The roster includes Andy Finch, Lindsey Jacobellis, Elijah Teter, Abe Teter, Chris Nelson, Lex Carrigan Koski, Tori Carrigan Koski, and Krissy Fagan.
Phenom Andy Finch, from Fresno, CA, who has his own pro model with Palmer has signed on for his 5th year with the Palmer family. Finch is known forhis insane talent on a snowboard. He has been destroying it on the contest circuit and has really begun to blossom as a worldwide talent, winningcompetitions like the Artic Challenge in Norway, The Battle in Sweden, and The SB Jam in Switzerland. Finch goes bigger and gets more technical with his tricks than most any rider out there. To top it off this kid can wreck from 25 feet to the deck on a QP and get up laughing. There are not many riders shredding at the same level as Andy.
Also gracing the team with her presence is 19-year-old Lindsey Jacobellis from Stratton VT. Lindsey won every single BX contest she entered last year and placed top three in almost every halfpipe event. She is truly a talented rider who can spin 900 in the pipe and go bigger than most any other girl.
Elijah Teter from Belmont VT has been blazing the contest scene, blowing minds with his newly named Teter flip (Half Cab to McTwist) and patentedalley-oop McTwists. Elijah came on strong this past season and hopes to really get the ball moving on the Palmer Squad this year.
Elijah’s brother, Abe, is well known for going gigantic and looking stylie doing it. This boy knows how to enjoy himself on a snowboard. He’d rather boost a 20 foot air out of the pipe and bone it out as hard as he can, than huck a 900. Abe rocks the Palmer Burn, which he helped design and won the Good Wood award in the TWS board 2005 test. Watching Abe ride will give you an idea of how fun that board is to ride.
Lex and Tori Carrigan Koski are on board once again to represent the Palmer brand. The twins from Steamboat Springs, CO have been tearing things up for a few years now and have finally graduated high school and the snowboarding school of hard knocks, to secure themselves spots on the 04/05 Palmer team. Look for them at a hill near you slaying rails and pulling smooth tag team style off of everything they hit.
Back once again is the incredible style animal Chris Nelson from Mammoth Lakes, CA. Nelly is not only an amazing human being, he also throws the most beautiful air to fakies in the world. Nelson has been an integral part of the Palmer squad for the last few years and he’s got what it takes tomake a living on a snowboard.
Finally, Palmer would like to extend a special thanks to Molly, Mason and the Aguirre family for their support of Palmer over the last year; we wishyou much success and happy riding with Burton. You have very bright futures and Palmer is happy to have been part of your fledgling careers.
