  sold out???? he is a professional snowboarder. keyword professional, thats his career. make as much money as possible and still have fun shredding if ya ask me. just because he isn’t living out of his truck doesn’t mean he sold out. im pretty sure all you haters would take upwards of $10 mil a year???

  I couldn’t agree more. It’s juvenile jealousy man. Wait until they get old enough to have to pay for their own equipment, or can’t make it on the Pro circuit because they can’t pull it together when it comes time to compete because they crack under the pressure. Hell, once they discover that less than 10% of people hoping to get somewhere actually manage to survive while living around a resort. After their cocky hopes and dreams of becoming famous get crushed either by never stringing enough cash together to eat or live, or they get caught up in some life consuming drug issue. I would say that for someone who came from a not so wealthy background, and works their ass off, Shaun White is the epitome of success. Im just happy that Shaun White has been the most recognized face of the sport amongst the general public, and not some toilette bowl licking crust punk, “Screw the man!” type. It’s alright though, because Mommy will always put their drawings up on the fridge. Cuz they’re the bestest! Spoiled brats.

  ya, but the general public recognizing a snowboard that doesnt rip pow is kinda weak, although i agree with most of what you say, shaun white is a killer shredder, but, that “”toilette bowl licking crust punk, “Screw the man!” type” is the type that made snowboarding when it was just starting, hated by all the skiiers and resorts, if they werent like that, they woulda bitched out and we wouldnt be snowboarding
