“NXTZ…THE PERFECT BLEND OF FASHION AND FUNCTION USING HIGH-TECH, BREATHABLE FABRICS AND CHIC, EYE-CATCHING PATTERNS AND COLORS.”

NXTZ is an action sports based accessory brand catering to winter sports. Focused around the ski and snowboard genre, NXTZ has always positioned itself as being the next big thing, with the next cool fabric print and as the next cool accessory.

NXTZ is a fashionable neck warmer made of the best fabrics on earth. The four letters, N,X,T,Z, do not form an acronym, but rather a noun and adverb phrase consisting of a double meaning. “Neck Steeze”, and also “NEXT Steeze”. NXTZ believes in both fashion and function with the use of high-tech materials, and capitalizing on the exclusive limited edition designer fabrics. NXTZ provides a way for riders to accessorize the neck area in a flashy and matching array of colors and patterns.

NXTZ was started in the basement of a New Hampshire home tucked in the heart of the White Mountains. In a region that knows cold weather, there is no better testing ground than right outside your door. Whether you wear it on your face or tucked around your neck, this ultra-soft technical garment is sure to keep you warm and looking good. NXTZ has changed the drab throw away neck warmer into a high end fashion piece that stands out and performs beyond all conventional fleeces and cotton t-shirt sleeves. What makes NXTZ stand out from the many other neck and face warmers on the market is the dual-layer design: a stylish stretch spandex on the outside, and an ultrasoft moisture-free micro-fiber fleece on the inside. The combination of these fabrics allows for a soft, stylish and highly breathable garment that can be comfortably worn on and off the snow. “Function was our most important obstacle when designing the line,” says Marketing and Sales Director Andrew Mutty. “I grew up using cheap neck warmers made of cotton bandanas and generic fleece furs. Our goal was to make something not only super comfortable, but also something with stylish and unique fabrics.”

NXTZ jumped into the market this past X Games and made a huge splash on some of the Games’ top athletes. The one and only Antti Autti wore his NXTZ on the podium as he finished 3rd in Superpipe this past X Games and two members of the FRENDS crew stood tall with silver medals wearing NXTZ, Scotty Lago (Slopestyle), and Kevin Pearce (Superpipe). NXTZ team rider Tim Humphreys showed the world NXTZ when he flashed the logo to 6 million household televisions as he dropped into his runs in the Slopestyle finals.
NXTZ business extends beyond individual athlete sponsorship, and branches out to make custom embroidery for some of the industry’s biggest crews and manufacturers. Scotty Lago and Kevin Pearce did not wear a plain NXTZ, but they rocked official FRENDS crew NXTZ custom embroidered. NXTZ also partnered with OAKLEY, and supplied the brand’s athletes and employees of X Games with official NXTZ product, to help keep everyone warm and stylish.

NXTZ will officially be launched in September of 2009, in specialty retail stores. NXTZ is also offering pre-release sales of the product online through www.nxtz.com. Don’t be left out in the cold. Grab the hottest accessory on the neck market…. NXTZ. Available online now!

These things are sick! I got one in Mammoth and it saved my ass. They are super soft and don’t trap moisture so no ice up or face rash.
