Truckee, CA — Snowboarders who plan ahead can save hundreds of dollarswith Northstar-at-Tahoe’s 2002 — 2003 season pass options. And, an addedbonus this year, Northstar has teamed up with its sister resortSierra-at-Tahoe on the South Shore to offer “Double Whammy interchangeablepass options that dramatically increase the skiing and snowboarding options.Priced as low as $249, the adult (ages 23-69) Northstar & Sierrainterchangeable pass is valid Sunday-Friday, non-holiday at Northstar anddaily, non-holiday at Sierra. The pass offers skiers and riders access totwo great Lake Tahoe resorts for an incredible price. The deadline forthese Double Whammy pass prices is September 30.

If all that skiing and riding isn’t enough, Double Whammy passholders willreceive even more valuable benefits. Passholders can purchase up to sixdiscount tickets throughout the season for friends or family. They canchoose whether to redeem the discount on six different days or bring up awhole crew and use them all at once. Those passholders with holidayrestrictions can still come up and ski and ride on those dates at aspecially discounted rate. For the ultimate ski travel adventure, DoubleWhammy passholders can buy a lift ticket at Telluride, Colorado and get thesecond day free.

For added convenience and value, Northstar also has other specially pricedadult passes to fit any schedule or budget. A Northstar & Sierrainterchangeable pass, valid any day, non-holiday atNorthstar and any day at Sierra, is available at the discounted rate of$399. An any day pass with no restrictions valid at either resort isavailable for $599. The combined passes provide skiers and riders with over4,480 acres of terrain, 116 trails, 27 lifts, incredible freestyle terrainparks at both resorts, never-ending tree skiing and 50 kilometers ofcross-country ski trails.

Young adult (ages 13-22) options include an interchangeable pass valid anyday with no restrictions for $349, and an interchangeable pass valid anyday, non-holiday at Northstar and any day at Sierra for only $209.

Two pass options are available for children (ages 5-12), including a $179interchangeable Northstar and Sierra-at-Tahoe pass, valid any day with norestrictions, or an interchangeable pass valid any day, non-holiday atNorthstar and any day at Sierra for only $99.

A super senior (ages 70+) Northstar and Sierra interchangeable pass validany day with no restrictions is offered for just $99.

All season passes are available in limited quantities on a first come, firstserve basis until September 30, 2002 or until sold out. All season passesalso allow access to Northstar’s 50 kilometers of Cross Country and Snowshoeterrain. Holiday blackout dates are November 29 — 30, 2002; December 27 —31, 2002; January 18 — 19, 2003; and February 15 — 16, 2003.
