Wrightwood, California—Mountain High gives iPod owners the ability to take the resort with them where ever they go. Weekly videos produced for its website at mthigh.com can now be downloaded with Apple’s free iTunes music player and viewed anywhere on video-enabled iPods. This new technology entitled Vodcast is an evolution of Apple’s Podcast which lets users download music shows such as news, comedy or sports on an automated basis. Think of the Vodcast as a subscription to a book-of-the-month-club except, with its digital format, members receive videos instead of books.

Says John McColly, Director of Marketing, “With video iPods becoming more and more popular, we figured it would be a great idea to make our weekly videos available for them. Through our new Vodcast, subscribers can have the latest Mountain High videos downloaded directly to their home computers.

Subscription to Mountain High’s Vodcast is free and available to both Mac and PC users. To sign up, open the iTunes music player, mouse over the Advanced menu and select Subscribe to Podcast. Then paste the following URL into the text box. http://homepage.mac.com/mthigh/vodcast.xml The program automatically downloads the most recent Mountain High video and gives the user the option to review and download past events. To use this feature, you must have iTunes and a video-enabled iPod. Guests without these components can still view Mountain High’s weekly videos at
