Wrightwood, CA — July 26, 2007: Mountain High’s annual season pass sale begins Saturday, September 1st. Adult Anytime Season Passes will be just $299.00 for the first 5,000 sold and $349.00 for the second 5,000 sold. To kick off the promotion, Mountain High is trucking in 120 tons of snow for its annual Buck Off Rail Jam and Festival. Up to seven features will be available to anyone with a new 2007/08 Season Pass and guests that are not strapping in can tour the festival area filled with vendor booths and sales tents. The event begins at 9am, September 1st, and continues into the late afternoon. DJs will be spinning all day, local artists will be painting rails, and everyone can relax knowing it is just a “buck-a-beer.

Says John McColly, Director of Marketing, “Nothing gets you thinking winter like 120 tons of snow. This is the third year we’ve produced the Buck Off event and it gets bigger every time so be sure to put September 1st on your calendar.

To create the 10,000 square foot winter venue, Mountain High is bringing in 120 tons of snow. It will take roughly five hours to cover the arena and Faultline Terrain Park personnel will be on hand all day to make sure it stays at its best. Two 30 foot start ramps provide the runway into the venue and guests will have their choice of seven different features. Four will be set in rows of two leaving two more individual features and a finishing ramp. Difficulty levels vary from easy to advanced meaning there is something for everyone and periodic contests will test the top competitors.

The rail yard is open to all ages, male and female, skier and snowboarder. There is no additional fee however a new 2007/08 season pass and helmet are required. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, OR download a liability form from Mountain High’s website at www.mthigh.com , have it notarized with a parent’s signature and bring it with them.

This year guests can save up to $300 “bucks during the Buck Off Season Pass Sale and anyone who purchases during the event will receive a commemorative Buck Off Season Pass. Beginning September 1st, Adult Anytime Season Passes (regularly $599.00) will be just $299.00 for the first 5,000 sold and $349.00 for the second 5,000 sold. Children’s passes for ages seven to twelve will also be available for just $129.00. Children six and under receive a free season pass with the purchase of an adult season pass. Sale ends October 31st, 2007, or when all 10,000 passes have been sold. Quantities are limited so guests are advised to act quickly. The first 5,000 passes sold in just two weeks last season.

For the quickest processing, Mountain High recommends purchasing your season pass online at www.mthigh.com . There you can manage your order, download liability forms, submit photos and much more. Existing pass holders can re-activate their cards their as well, saving any processing fees. Season pass orders may also be placed by phone, toll free at (888) 754-7878, and at the resort. Operators are available Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Sundays from 10:00am to 4:00pm. There is a $10.00 processing fee for all new passes purchased.
