Wrightwood, CA – November 2, 2003 – Mountain High Resort in Wrightwood officially opens for the 2003/2004 season this Monday, November 3rd. Fifty percent of all opening day ticket revenues will be donated to the Red Cross Fire Disaster Relief Fund! Mountain High was untouched by the recent fires but understands the devastation and trauma they cause through past experience.
Says Karl Kapuscinski, General Manager, “Mountain High will be the first resort to open in Southern California and only the fourth to open in the country.”
Fifty percent of all opening day ticket revenues will be donated to the Red Cross Fire Disaster Relief Fund! Discounted ticket rates are as follows: $30.00 for an 8-hour ticket, $25.00 for a night ticket (5pm to 10pm) and $15.00 for a Childs ticket, ages seven to twelve. Kids six and under ski free when accompanied by a paying adult. Please note these prices are subject to change without notice. Due to the limited terrain, there may be a need to limit ticket sales. Operating hours will be from 8:30am to 10:00pm with night skiing from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Up to two lifts will be available accessing three trails which make one top-to-bottom run. The terrain will be mostly intermediate and there will be a small assortment of jumps, rails and fun boxes including some of our newest features like The Toolbox
Complete food & beverage facilities and rental equipment will be available as well however ski and snowboard lessons will not be offered due to the limited terrain.
