Wrightwood, CA – August 25, 2003 – Summer is in the air but believe it or not, winter is just 10 weeks away. Beginning this Labor Day weekend guests can save $250.00 on a season pass to Mountain High, Southern California’s closest winter resort.

Mountain High’s annual season pass sale begins Saturday, August 30, 2003. Regularly $499.00, the popular resort’s season passes will be just $249.00 for the first 5,000 sold and $299.00 for the second 5,000 sold. Children’s passes for ages seven to twelve will also be available for just $99.00. Children six and under receive a free season pass with the purchase of an adult season pass.

Says John McColly, Director of Marketing, “This is going to be an exciting sale! We sold our first 5,000 in just three days last year.”

Sale ends October 31, 2003, or when all 10,000 passes have been sold. Because quantities are limited, guests are advised to act quickly. After the sale, all season passes return to their regular prices: $499 Adult, $199 Child (ages 7-12).

This anytime season pass is aptly named the Freedom Pass. It is valid any day or night throughout the 2003/2004 season with no restrictions. Freedom Pass holders receive Hands-Free lift access through the resort’s electronic-access ticketing system, guaranteed admittance during sellout periods, 10% off non-sale retail items and 10% off ski and snowboard lessons for ages thirteen and up.

For the quickest processing, guests should purchase their Freedom Passes online at www.mthigh.com . There they can manage their orders, download liability forms, submit photos and much more. Existing pass holders can re-activate their cards there as well, saving them the hassles of waiting in line and any processing fees. Freedom Pass orders may also be placed by phone, toll free at (888) 754-7878, and at the resort. Operators are available weekdays from 10:00am to 6:00pm and weekends from 10:00am to 3:00pm. There is a $10.00 processing fee per pass.

The $249.00 Freedom Pass sale represents a huge savings to skiers and snowboarders in Southern California. For more information, please contact John McColly, Director of Marketing, at (760) 316-7830.
