Vernon, NJ, October 7, 2002 – Mountain Creek has further expanded its Uncommon Ground Terrain Parks with the construction of a brand new trail – the 1200 ft. Independence Pass.
"We're committed to the quality and innovation of our parks and this new trail gives us even more mountain terrain to build snow features while still adding to our inventory of unique rails," says Bill Benneyan, Director of Marketing.
"The Independence Park will host 2 different lines and will cater to intermediate and expert level riders," said Shawn Orecchio, Terrain Park Designer. "The intermediate line will consist of lower level features, while the expert line will contain some of the biggest snow features found on the east coast."
Mountain Creek has also dedicated the existing Exhibition Trail at South Peak to terrain park features. Exhibition Park will be the first park to open at Mountain Creek and will include a variety of early season park hits. This brings the total park count to five including Great Northern/Kyber Pass, Indian Pass and Half Moon — packed full with more than 30 rails and nearly 100 terrain features.
Mountain Creek is scheduled to open mid-December.
