Seattle, WA (March 16, 2009) – Morrow Snowboards’ first ever FameWar Video Contest generated hundreds of entries from all over the world, but when the votes were counted, a clear winner emerged from just slightly north. Adraon Buck, from Nelson, BC, Canada emerged victorious with his entry “Kootenays”, showcasing his solid shredding skills.

For his efforts Adraon wins $1,000 cash and will appear in an upcoming Morrow print ad.

 

Best New Original Trick was won by Jeremy Cameron with his “Gutterball”, a one-footed, nose grab rail slide. He wins $500 and a chance to appear in a Morrow Print ad.

 

“The New Original Trick category was conceived as a way to push the progression of snowboarding,” said Morrow’s marketing manager, Mark McGuane. “We asked riders to create (and name) new tricks to show us the future of shredding, or just have fun with original stunts. We leave it to viewers to decide which type the winner is! ”
