Mr. Ladley is a 13 year old shredder from Steamboat, CO, a future babe magnet and his riding is epic, which is why Salomon is overjoyed to have him on the Team.
Surpassing the usual or ordinary, particularly in scope or size Being epic also means winning the biggest contests and landing the biggest tricks. Matt did both this year- bringing home gold medals from the US Open Jr. Jam at Stratton Mountain, VT, and the Halfpipe event at Nationals where he landed a backside 900. When asked about his win at Nationals, Matt responded, “Being at the top of the podium was good, but being able to ride with your buddies from around the country was the best. Ladley also received a coveted invitation to the 2005 Junior Worlds in Topolino, Italy.
Matt will continue riding this season, working on back-to-back 900s, perfecting his 1080s, and attending Windell’s for some summer training. Next year, plans include competing in the Grand Prix Series and qualifying for the Junior Worlds in Switzerland.
Salomon Snowboards is hyped to have Matt join the Team. “Matt’s a great kid and a really talented rider. We’re stoked to have him on our program and look forward to helping him reach his highest potential, said Tyler LaMotte, Salomon Snowboards Category Manager.
