Professional Snowboarders Mark McMorris and Kelly Clark Nominated for ESPY Awards

ESPN’s ESPY awards, the largest award ceremony for professional athletes has included professional snowboarders Mark McMorris and Kelly Clark in their awards for Best Male Action Sports Athlete and Best Female Action Sports Athlete. Voting polls are open until the show airs on ESPN at 9 pm eastern time, July 17th.

McMorris earned a gold medal in the X Games Aspen Slopestyle event and a Slopestyle win at the Burton US Open this year. Also the Dew Tour Breckenridge allowed  Mark to claim the overall World Snowboard title in Slopestyle, oh and happy Canada Day Mark.

Kelly Clark is an X Games and US Open gold medalist, taking the 2013 first place title at this years US Open alongside men’s gold medalist Shaun White. Already a two time Olympic gold medalist, she has her sights set on the 2014 games in russia.
