The dork box you’re staring at just got a whole lot cooler with the official launch of MammothUnbound.com. This all-new site contains everything skiers and snowboarders need to know about Mammoth, via a stunning new interface.
MammothUnbound.com is built largely around imagery. The stunning photos come from photographer Peter Morning, who last season was tasked with compiling a library of alluring images large enough to support an entirely new web site. Everything from the navigation to the athlete profiles utilizes these breathtaking action and landscape images, and the numerous galleries are even more stunning.
The homepage now houses the one-stop-shop for all of Mammoth Unbound’s official communications, with a prominent display of content from three different social media channels. The Mammoth Unbound Facebook has information about park conditions and events, the Mammoth Unbound Tumblr features the famous Six for Six interviews with the pros that come to town and Instagram photos, while the Mammoth Unbound Twitter is home to live event feeds and park updates. The site also features a counter at the top showing off all the features open in the park on a daily basis.
Visitors to the site will enjoy all the functionality of the main site, like access to MyMammoth for reloading lift tickets, viewing web cams or scheduling flights into Mammoth airport. Custom content allows users to check out the parks and find the right fit before visiting, introductions to the Mammoth Unbound team athletes, and nightlife recommendations that are sure to come in handy after the lifts close.
Be sure to check out the all-new MammothUnbound.com and explore the new features, but don’t forget to visit Mammoth in real life this winter.
