Mammoth Mountain, CA – Mammoth Mountain is celebrating Memorial Day weekend with fun in the sun both on the slopes and the greens.
Mammoth Spring is in full swing, which means blue skies, sunshine, and delicious corn snow are the norm. For Memorial Day weekend Mammoth will expand accessible terrain with the opening Chairs 5 and 23. A brand new Spring Pipe is currently under construction and will open May 22 for your jibbing pleasure. At over 10,000 feet, the Spring Pipe could be the highest session you’ve ever had.
If you’ve already purchased your 2002/03 Value Pass, good news – you can use it now for spring riding. If you don’t have a Value Pass yet, call 800.MAMMOTH or log onto www.MammothMountain.com before it’s too late. Offer good through May 31, 2002.

Golf at 8000′
Mammoth’s championship 18-hole golf course at 8,000′, Sierra Star, will open its doors for business Friday, May 24th. The opening is just in time for Memorial Day, giving guests of the area the unique opportunity to ski and golf in the same incredible day. Tee up at Sierra Star anytime May 24 through May 27 and receive a round of golf for just $70, regularly $115, when you present a current Mammoth Mountain Value Pass or lift ticket. Charge the Pass
Access to Mammoth Mountain will be greatly improved with the opening of the Tioga Pass on Hwy 120 scheduled for Wednesday, May 22. With the pass open, travel time for visitors from the bay area is cut in half with a beautiful scenic drive through Yosemite National Park as an added bonus.
