Mother Nature may have decided on a slow start to the 2011/2012 ski season, but the conditions at Mammoth Mountain are still great. Our 450 acres of skiable terrain so good, in fact, that we’d like you to come check it out for FREE this Friday, December 9, 2011.
An around-the-clock assault on dirt patches allows Mammoth to have nine lifts currently in operation, and you can ride them all for free. No gimmicks, hassles or asterisks. Just sign up for a free MyMammoth account on the web site and pick up some free riding at California’s best resort.
Two terrain parks have already opened— Forest Trail and Main Park— along with the Olympic-size 22-foot half pipe. The parks have 12 jumps and 25 rails set up, providing something for all abilities.
Cold temperatures at night have given Mammoth the chance to make some great man-made snow, and sunshine during the day makes for great skiing and riding whether you’re aiming to lap the park, the groomers, or the summit. We wouldn’t invite you up here unless we truly believed in the quality of our conditions, so come on up this Friday and enjoy our mountain for FREE.
