Truckee, CA (March 2, 2007) — The Vans Cup at Tahoe got off to a killerstart Friday night under the lights at Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort with jibmasters Lucas Magoon and Erin Comstock nabbing the guy’s and women’s titlesin a Rail Jam comp before an enthusiastic crowd ready to start theweekend’s snowboard action at the West Coast’s biggest snowboard contest.Incline Village local Comstock took home $2,600 with smooth frontsideboardslides on the down rail and powerful 50-50′s through the kinked rail,while Magoon, who has been torrid on the rail contest circuit this winter,grabbed $12,000 with the most technical combos on the rails against alarger men’s field.
