LOCAL TALENT SHINES AT BACKYARD BANG DENVER

DENVER, CO. (Nov. 24, 2009) — The sun was shining, the snow was cold and
nearly 3000 people showed up at the Art Institute of Colorado to watch
Forrest Bailey and Claire Hewitt DeMeyer throw down on the streets of Denver
and win the cash prize at the First Annual Backyard Bang Rail Jam—Denver
Edition.

Forrest Bailey earned the 2K cash purse with consistent tricks throughout
the finals.  Claire Hewitt DeMeyer overcame a serious shin-shattering slam
during practice to earn first place for women and the 1K prize.  Both riders
won a season pass to Copper Mountain.

Over 60 competitors hurled themselves into the snow-covered streets
throughout the afternoon while spectators won prizes from the event
sponsors, checked out art in the gallery at AI, and meandered through the
sponsor village while drinking Red Bull.

Salomon riders Jed Anderson, Louif Paradis, Scotty Arnold, Chris Grenier,
Bode Merrill, Harrison Gordon and Chris Carr signed autographs and cheered
on riders from the comfort of their road warrior RV as part of their team
tour.

Event sponsors included Salomon Snowboards, The Art Institute of Colorado,
Bonfire Snowboarding Company, Skull Candy, Galvanic, Copper Mountain,
Westword, Scion, Snowboard Magazine, Ink Monster, Emage and Denver Diggers.
