LIPPI King Of The Park In El Colorado, Chile
El Colorado, Chile, 18th of July 2013
With US $8,000 in prizes up for grabs, this July 27-28 El Colorado hosts the Lippi Rey del Park (King of the Park), where snowboarders and skiers are crowned as the Kings of the best terrain park in South America. 80 professional riders in both men´s and women´s fields will be on hand to compete in the ninth version of King of the Park which will run as a 3 Star World Snowboard Tour Event.
Athletes representing Chile, Brazil, USA, Argentina and Canada will fight for the title during two days of competition. Day one, Saturday, starts out with Big Air, held on a 50 foot gap jump custom built for the event. Next is the Rail Session, featuring riders such as Manuel Diaz, a national favorite and ambassador of El Colorado.
On day two, Sunday, the highly anticipated and challenging Slope Style category, where riders link jumps and rails in a line through the Valle Olímpico Park (VOP). The results of the final day will determine the ultimate Kings and Queens of the Park.
• Friday: 1:00pm to 6:00 pm, registration at Base Parador (alongside Customer Service).
• Saturday: 8:00am to 10:00am, registration at Base Parador (alongside Customer Service).
• Registration fee: $15,000 CLP. Rider´s kit includes: King of Park sweatshirt, bib, bracelet, and ticket for both days of competition.

ABOUT THE WORLD SNOWBOARD FEDERATION
The World Snowboard Federation (WSF) is the international organization exclusively working to develop the sport of snowboarding at all levels. Program areas include: competitions, Para-Snowboard, judge and shapers, education and certification, and snowboard activities for riders of every age.
