Seattle, Washington – July 8, 2009 –CAPiTA Snowboarding is pleased to announce the addition of Laura Hadar to the professional team.
The former Women’s Jibber of the Year is world renowned for integrating her skill and style into the male dominated urban snowboarding scene.
From podiums to movie premieres to entrepreneurship, Laura is not afraid to push the limits.
Based in Salt Lake City she’s also a founder and co-owner of FICE, one of the premiere boutique skate and sneaker shops in the Western United States.
Despite this success, her day-to-day focus remains on snowboarding.
“I’m more stoked to snowboard right now than I’ve ever been.” Laura continues, “I’m getting so buff. I do push ups after I brush my teeth every morning.”
As for riding for CAPiTA, Hadar keeps it simple. “I’m so fucking hyped!”
CAPiTA’s Brand Manager Blue Montgomery replied, “We are too. Laura is one of the industry’s most unique and talented snowboarders. She’s a wild one. Her style and our style are about as compatible as it gets.”
Laura currently rides for CAPiTA, Union Bindings, Holden Outerwear, Oakley, Nike Snowboarding, Milosport, Grenade, Nikita, and Coal Headwear. She joins Dustin Craven, Dan Brisse, Scott Stevens, and TJ Schneider on the team as CAPiTA’s first female professional athlete.
