Gourmet food…yoga…massage…first-class accommodations? Doesn’tsound like your typical snow safari.

It’s not.

It’s the Las Snolas Snow Safari, a women-only snow excursion gearedtoward women who may have different skill levels, but share the sameadventurous spirit. With luxurious amenities and world class instructors,women can enjoy the snow in a wonderfully female way.

The adventurers will be guided by Las Olas’ snowboard/ski leaders,highly skilled mountain women with a documented history of success in theirrespective sports. Many were first sponsored by Avalanche Snowboards, underthe direction of Bev Sanders. They share a passion for their sport and acommitment to sharing their expertise. Groups are small and dividedaccording to ability.

But the on-mountain action is only part of the package. The dailyritualof Las Snolas Safari includes morning yoga sessions followed by a heartybreakfast. Safarians then head to the mountain with theirleader for a daily dose of gravity-induced endorphins. A rejuvenatingmassage and spa activities are scheduled in the afternoons, followed by agourmet dinner and fireside chats.

Sanders is a co-founder of one of the first snowboard manufacturingcompanies in the industry, and has been instrumental in the evolution ofperformance gear designed specifically for women. She takes her dedicationone step further with the Las Snolas Safari, offering women an environmentwhere they can experience beginner snowboarding, or hone theirblack-diamond abilities, in an atmosphere that supports both equally.
