Kirkwood’s Weekend Ticket Prices Lowered

Adults (19+) can ski or ride a full day for just $44 or a half-day for $34. A two-day ticket is $66. Young adult (13-18) lift tickets are $34 for a full day, $27 for a half-day or $51 for two days. Seniors (65-69) are $21 for a full day or $16 for a half day. Super Seniors (70+) and Kids (6-12) are $10 for a full day while kids 5 and under are just $6 for a full day. No half-day tickets are available for Super Seniors or Kids.

Kirkwood Mountain Resort has received over six feet of snow in the last two weeks and will open four lifts this coming weekend. Nearly 1000 acres of beginner, intermediate and expert terrain will be open for skiing and riding. On Sunday, Kirkwood will give away three season passes to the skiers and riders with the best Halloween costumes. Rentals are available on the Village Plaza, retail operations and restaurants are open for business. Ski School will also be open for first-timers and private lessons.

Skiers and riders from Sacramento and the Bay Area can easily access Kirkwood by scenic Highway 88. The resort will open for daily operation on November 20. Kirkwood Cross Country Center will also be open this weekend with 20 kilometers of groomed trails with skating and snowshoe lanes. Trail passes are $8.
