Squaw Valley USA, October 9, 2007- Squaw Valley USA’s annual Winter Job Fairs offer a convenient way for job-seekers to explore different employment options and land that coveted mountain gig. With the most skiable terrain in Lake Tahoe, the most advanced lift network in the US, and some of the deepest snow in the world, Squaw Valley USA is a haven for anyone who loves winter sports. Squaw Valley employees reap the benefits of a complimentary season pass and access to 4,000 acres of world-famous terrain. The first Winter Job Fair takes place from 9 am — 3 pm on Saturday, October 20 and the second Winter Job Fair is on Saturday, November 3, also from 9 am — 3 pm.
Squaw’s Winter Job Fairs are held in the Olympic Village Lodge, located past the old fire station, at the base of the resort. Department managers will be on hand to interview perspective employees, and oftentimes offer jobs on the spot. Available positions include guest services staff, lift operators, ticket sellers, retail sales associates, parking attendants, ski and snowboard instructors, Squaw Kids instructors and sales staff, Cable Car and Funitel operators, reservation agents, ski and snowboard rental shop staff and many others.
Anyone attending the job fair from out of town can stay at the Squaw Valley Hostel overnight for only $10.
