Marmot announces an alliance with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort commencing in the fall of 1999. The partnership is a complete uniform and marketing program that will span three years.

Jackson Hole and Marmot enter this exciting new idea in uniform programs with great expectations. The program is an integrated marketing partnership that has many purposes that benefit both parties. Jackson Hole will be part of Marmot’s Secrets of the Universe marketing program and Marmot’s lodge fixture program.

There will be Marmot logos on all trail maps, including on-mountain maps and travel planners that are sent to potential visitors of Jackson Hole. Marmot will also be named the official sponsor of the Jackson Hole Vertical Foot Club as well as Steep skiing, telemark and snowboarding camps based in Jackson Hole.

All mountain staff will wear Marmot Alpinist Parkas that vary slightly to distinguish between different departments. “Technical, hard-wearing, high-quality garments are required for all employees who spend the majority of their hours outdoors on a mountain that averages in excess of 400 inches of snow fall each season,” stated Kari Cooper, vice president of marketing for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. “As the votes were tallied, it was interesting to note that from ski patrol to retail, we found complete consensus supporting Marmot as the uniform of choice for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.”
