Teton Village, Wyoming—With cold temperatures and a winter storm watch Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is ready to open as scheduled, Saturday, December 3, 2005. The Resort will open all major runs off Teewinot, Apres Vous and Casper chairlifts. A combination of man made and incredible recent powder will ensure fantastic early season conditions. JHMR will also open Nick Wilson’s café serving breakfast, lunch and après and the Mountain Sports School will be offering all programs including Kids Ranch.

The Resort has already received over 100 inches of snowfall and mid mountain snow depths have reached 40 inches. JHMR Mountain Operations are working hard to try and open other major lifts which serve the upper mountain including the Bridger Gondola and Thunder but with heavy snow and high winds, snow control and safety considerations are slowing preparations. Both these lifts are currently predicted to open on Wednesday December 7, 2005 ensuring nearly 70% of terrain will be open. More lifts should follow quickly.

JHMR Early Season Ticket Prices: Dec 3 — 16, 2005
$50 for adults, $40 for young adults, $25 for jnr/snr
