2017 has been heavy on the snowfall with Mother Nature dropping champagne powder over much of the western United States and Canada with more on the way. Recent snow totals are almost unbelievable as some resorts in California have been clobbered with almost four feet of snow in the past 72 hours. It’s damn deep out there and the only thing you should be doing is shredding pow.
Check out these recent snow totals from OntheSnow.com.
Reports are calling for more snow throughout the Sierras, the Wasatch and Colorado Rockies throughout the weekend. Find your area’s forecast here.
We’re drooling over shots from those that have been getting it super deep from these recent systems thanks to our pow-heavy Instagram feed. Here are a few hammers from Corey Smith getting it at Sugar Bowl, Tim Eddy slaying in the Sierras, and our dude, Ben Birk, getting pitted on his sled outside of Tahoe. It’s too good out there.
Played “where is my hood” all day. Almost too deep to take it off the trail. Near the top was so deep you would get stuck if you stopped. Tomorrow is going to be even better.
