Special Events and Promotions

19th Annual Nurses Winter FestivalThe Nurses Winter Festival is set for Thursday, Feb. 24 and includes a race,a fun obstacle snowtubing event, an evening gourmet buffet, party and awardsbanquet.

Registration costs $40 and includes a lift ticket for Thursday. The event issponsored by SixMileCross, Bud Light and Hunter Mountain and a portion ofthe entry fee will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Also, nursesare encouraged to bring a friend to the event to learn to ski or snowboardfor $40-which includes lift ticket, group lesson, equipment rental and entryto the evening buffet. USSA Eastern Freestyle B Mogul MeetAthletes from ages 9 to 25 will compete Feb. 13 in the USSA EasternFreestyle B Mogul Meet held at Hunter Mountain on the Eisenhower Drivetrail. Hunter Mountain athletes are among the top competitors that willrace down a mogul run while maintaining a good line and perform maneuversfor the best possible score.
