High Cascade Snowboard Camp in partnership with international award-winning photographer Trevor Graves, TransWorld Media, and the Brooks Institute of Photography welcome action sports photographers to Mt. Hood, Oregon for the 3rd annual High Cascade Snowboard Photo Workshop.

Workshop dates are July 28—August 2, 2004. The workshop is designed for action sports photographers, team managers or anyone who just would like to improve their action sports photography skills. Renowned industry photographers, Trevor Graves, Chris Owen, Kevin Zacher and Embry Rucker will make up the workshop faculty.

During the hours spent shooting on snow, participants will focus on advancing their technical and creative skills shooting many of the professional riders that ride High Cascade’s summertime facilities. The roster of snowboard talent that have been available for our past workshops include Josh Dirksen, Barrett Christy, Billy Anderson, Roberta Rodger, Abe Teter, Louie Fountain, Ami Voutilainen, Pat Moore, Sean Genovese, Alexis Waite, Corey Smith, Jessica Dalpiaz and JP Tomich.

Film is processed daily and returned for evening critique sessions. Classroom sessions will cover the wide range of skills required by anyone aiming for the top ranks of snowboard photography.

The world famous Brooks Institute has been fundamental in devising the curriculum for the course and in providing ongoing consulting. Student assistants from the Brook’s Institute of Photography will be on hand to help answer questions.

The price for the workshop, which runs from the afternoon of July 28th through August 2th, is $1325. This inclusive price covers all accommodation, meals, lift tickets, instruction, professional snowboard talent and E-6 film processing. Students provide their own film and photo-equipment.
