Seattle, WA – December 12, 2008 – With the season just gearing up, youth around North America are pulling their equipment out of storage and starting to plan their competition schedule for the year.  Here in the great Northwest, the Gromfest Crew is finishing up our own winter schedule and getting ready to hit the road.

If you haven’t heard, the Great Northwest Gromfest is back and planning another year of amazing qualifiers at local resorts, all gearing up for the 2009 Gromfest Finals next July at Whistler.  While Gromfest has a good following already in the Northwest, the non-profit event will be expanding to include more resorts in Canada as well as some resorts in the Northeast and Rocky Mountains.

What follows is the second set of qualifiers to be announced for the season.  Show up to any of these mountains and compete in the listed event and you could possibly qualify to come compete next summer.  Keep checking back as more mountains will join this list in the weeks to come including Breckenridge, Mountain Creek, Big Boulder Park and June Mountain to name a few:
