Grindrite has been appointed the new distributor for Dominator Performance Wax in North America. Distribution will be for specialty ski and snowboard shops and retail chain stores.

“We are very confident that Dominator offers the prospective dealer a product with excellent performance, the benefits of a strong sales organization — Elan/Grindrite — and extensive product support with an interactive website and heavy promotion in racing,” says Matt Cassidy, sales and technical manager of the Dominator division of Grindrite.

Like Grindrite, Dominator’s excellent performance and reliability are well-documented. With ten Olympic and nearly 30 Paralympic medals in Nagano, and athletes such as Luc Alphand, the Japanese Ski Jumping Team, the Russian Biathlon Team, and the majority of the U.S. Snowboard Team regularly winning on the wax, Dominator’s quality has been proven at the highest levels. Dominator’s high visibility at key races and other industry venues creates pull-through marketing that will benefit the dealer.

Dominator also has a significant price advantage; as the only wax line containing in-house produced fluoros, it is able to offer higher levels of fluoro at lower costs than those of competitors’ products. While other wax manufacturers simply blend their waxes with commercially-available fluoros, Dominator manufacturer Velocity Ventures, Inc., designs and produces its own molecularly-engineered fluoro formulations.

Stan Woliner, president of Grindrite, is very excited about the new collaboration between Grindrite and Dominator. The two companies share similar traits, both being U.S.-based and owning a unique position in their respective markets.
