Grand Prix Riders Party

The Chevrolet Grand Prix snowboarding event is being held on Mt. Bachelor in Bend Oregon this weekend, January 5—8. This event showcases the worlds leading athletes in slopestyle, boardercross, and Superpipe, and is an Olympic qualifier for the 2006 Winter games in Torino, Italy. This year is sure to be a crowd pleaser, featuring some of the best athletes in snowboarding such as Hannah Teter, Shaun White, Danny Kass, Steve Fisher, Keir Dillion, and Ross Powers to name only a few of the two hundred or so competitors whom will be trying at their slot in this year’s Olympics in Torino.

Following The Superpipe Olympic qualifiers we plunge into the Grand Prix Riders party. This party is a way for the United States Snowboarding Association, Mt. Bachelor, and sponsors of the Chevrolet Grand Prix to express their love to all of the athletes and NBC media personnel who all work hard training, competing, filming, and setting up this snowboarding event. The appreciation party is open to the public to attend and is a great chance for people to meet and greet with their favorite riders involved in the sport. So come check out the show and rock with your favorite shredders on January 7 at the Midtown in Bend, Oregon. Live performances by Lyrics Born, The Helio Sequence, The Briefs, and Precursor. This just in, Cobra Dogs will be setting up shop in the parking lot! Holla. This show will be super dooper great!
