Santa Cruz, California—Giro, the market leader in snow sports helmets, announced that Finnish snowboard star Antti Autti, and U.S. Team rider Tommy Czeschin have both signed two-year endorsement deals with the company.

At the age of 20, Antti Autti has established himself as one of the world’s top riders with a win at the 2005 X-Games competition and wins in several other events since exploding onto the scene just a few years ago. And as one of the most technically progressive and stylish riders in the game, he’s looking forward to a lot of filming while rocking out to the soothing sounds of Turbonegro in his Audio Series EncoreTM helmet. “Antti’s not only an amazing rider, he’s also creative and motivated. That’s a perfect fit with us, said Chuck Platt, Team Manager for Giro. Beyond his competitive results and film schedule, Autti is also working with Giro to create a signature version of the company’s Encore helmet as part of their 2007 product line.

At the age of 26, Tommy Czeschin has established himself as one of the world’s most consistent riders, with solid results at numerous contests over the last few seasons including the X-Games, Triple Crowns and Grand Prix events. And with the 2006 Olympics coming up fast, Tommy is working hard to be in top form for Italy – one of his biggest goals as a rider. “Giro is excited to have Tommy join the team, said Eric Richter, Marketing Communications Manager for Giro. “He’s super talented and down-to-earth, and we’re looking forward to working with him on several projects, including a signature series helmet.
