The Community Cup is back, showcasing the best ladies in snowboarding for a one-day slopestyle contest on April 5th in Keystone, CO. The contest is an element of a larger project for the Community Cup name, focusing on women’s snowboarding progression. The invite only contest is stacked with the likes of Jamie Anderson, Kjersti Buaas, Kaitlyn Farrington, and 22 other ladies who have shaped the sport.
They’ve now opened up the field to welcome a wild card spot. Check out the details below on how you can get an invite to the contest. Submission must be in by March 22nd. The top five girls from the video qualifying contest earn a spot to the semi-finals. Good luck!
Community Cup Video Qualifiers
It’s a contest to get into a contest. Here’s how it works:
1. Capture the magic on your snowboard. Show your best style, grabs, authenticity, and technical ninja moves to solidify your spot at Community Cup for 2014! For your submission to be recognized- we need: 1 lifestyle, 3 jump shots, and 3 rail shots. Short and sweet. We must be able to see your tricks (start to finish) and no repeat tricks will be accepted. Rock n Roll, smile, and have fun!
2. Enter your battle footage by adding your video here. Or click the “Claim a Run” button from anywhere in this video viewer.
3. WINNERS: The best overall will be selected by our judge panel. This is not a popularity contest, but they will take into account the most viewed and the highest rated videos. Winners will receive a semi-final slopestyle spot, in addition to notoriety, goody bags, and inclusion into an edited piece featured on TWSnow.com/CommunityCup microsite. Our winning qualifier will be featured amongst our other 24 invited athletes on our website.
