Flow Snowboarding Partners with NSP
The National Ski Patrol (NSP), founded in 1938, has followed its creed of “Service and Safety” since the establishment of skiing as a popular sport in the United States.
August 2009: Flow Snowboarding signs its first official Co-Marketing agreement with the National Ski Patrol. Flow will be working closely with the NSP to provide a comprehensive snowboard package for patrollers. During the course of the 2008-2009 Winter season Flow’s Marketing Director, Andrew Mutty worked closely with Loon Mountain Patroller Travis Hebron and Northstar Patroller Russ Lindsey introducing the Flow product line and benefits to their staff. “I have always seen the NSP organization as a great partnership,” says Andrew, “and I think we offer a product that speaks the same language as NSP, when patrollers are looking for Speed, Comfort and Performance.” When working with Lead patroller Travis Hebron from Loon Mountain he explained why his crew was so engaged in the product. “They loved the mechanics of it and the ease of getting in and out.” He continued by saying, “I also lent my board to the Lift Ops manager for one run and he went out and bought a pair of Flow’s the next week.” Both groups will represent the co-marketing agreement with links to and from both websites. “Working together with NSP is a goal Flow has set for itself over the past couple of years and now it has finally come to fruition,” says Andrew at Flow, “and we are happy to be involved with the hope of bigger and better NSP/Flow collaborations in the future.”
