CARLSBAD, CA. – Dragon Optical launches the first DRAGON AIR FORCE TOUR in North America with huge success. The 2-day snowboarding stop included some of America’s and Europe’s finest professional snowboarders.

The American stop took place at Bear Mountain, California in a specially built and designated area designed specifically for the Dragon Air Force tour. The concept was simple, a two-day, no pressure jam session of top international pros in a custom-built terrain park. This format allows for some of the best freestyle riding there is.

“This tour is designed to give our riders a platform to ride with their friends with out the pressure of contest formats,” stated Brian Harris, Dragon’s Team Manager. “The Dragon Air Force tour is our way of letting our athletes hang out, ride and have a good time on us.”

Dragon assembled a very elite team of riders for this event. The group consisted of 11 professional snowboarders: Matt Hammer (USA), John Jackson (USA), Chris Engelsman (USA), Gabe Taylor (USA), Nicolas Watier (FRA), Mads Johnson (NOR), Pacome Allouis (FRA), Remi Lamazouere (FRA), Kevin Sansalone (CAN), Bobby Meeks (USA), Jordan Mendenhall (USA).

The DRAGON AIR FORCE TOUR was hosted by Bear Mountain, Ca. and was sponsored by JVC and XBOX. Special thanks goes out to the teams at these companies for all their help and support.

Coming off of the success of the Dragon 3 Ring Circus of snowboarding and the European leg of the Dragon Air Force Tour, Dragon was committed to putting on the best 2-day event we could. This was the second of three stops of the tour, starting in France and ending in Norway this June.
