Incline Village: Diamond Peak Ski Resort is gearing up for the winter. This year Diamond Peak will open with a new high speed quad! The new Crystal Express will move snowboarders to the top in about 5 minutes. That’s about twice as fast as the old lift.
Also new this year, Diamond Peak’s ski school offers the friends and family program. Small groups of 2-5 people can sign up for semi-private lessons and save money! The cost is $100 per hour or 3 hours for $275, 4 hours for $350 and 6 hour for $450. Guests pay the same price whether there are 2 people or 5 people, the more people in the group the better the savings!
A hot way to save money on lift tickets is the Diamond Peak Mini Pass! Guests can ride for as low as $29 a day! Purchase a 2-day pass for $77, 3-day for $105, 5-day pass for $160 or a 7-day pass for $202. The more you ride the more you save! The mini-pass is valid any day and is fully transferable. It makes a great pass for guests and it’s a great gift idea!
Diamond Peak offers a weekly wine tasting event at the mid-mountain Snowflake Lodge. Beginning January 31st, every Saturday evening through March (except Feb. 14) snowboarders can savor delicious wine and appetizers while enjoying the beautiful sunset view of Lake Tahoe. As guests relax and unwind, the snow cats prepare a freshly groomed slope for skiers to carve up. The wine will be spectacular, the views amazing and the skiing unforgettable! It is a truly unique Tahoe experience! Also available for private parties, call (775) 832-1132 for details.
