Beginning Friday, Nov.15, skiers and riders in search of the latest statewide snow conditions can call Colorado Ski Country USA’s snow phone at 303/825-SNOW and log onto www.coloradoski.com for the official snow report for Colorado’s 24 ski and snowboard resorts.

Skiers and riders can visit www.coloradoski.com for snow information from all 24 Colorado resorts, including 24 and 48-hour snow fall totals, number of lifts running, percentage of terrain open, surface and weather conditions. Winter enthusiasts can also call 303/825-SNOW (7669) for the same information. Both the internet report and the phone reports are updated at 6:00 am and 2:00 pm daily Monday – Saturday and at 6:00 am on Sunday. The snow report can also be found in The Rocky Mountain News and The Denver Post daily.

Also now available through Colorado Ski Country USA is PowderFone. PowderFone is a personalized service consumers can sign up for where they will be called on their personal phone when a “powder day” is in effect. The PowderFone service allows skiers and riders to set up a profile at www.powderfone.com or www.coloradoski.com with information such as favorite mountains, days of the week when they can hit the slopes, amount of new snow they want to hear about and time of day they want to be called. PowderFone monitors for these preferences and calls the user when conditions are just right.
