The most exclusive season pass for all of Colorado
Denver, CO, August 20, 2003…Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) announces the return of the popular Colorado Gold Pass, the premiere ski and snowboard pass in the state of Colorado, for a special discounted rate while supplies last through October 1, 2003.
CSCUSA’s Gold Pass announcement comes amidst the Colorado season pass wars that began on Tuesday. At $2,500, the Gold Pass is in a different league than the other multi-resort passes announced Tuesday. The Gold Pass offers pass holders unlimited skiing and riding at all 24 CSCUSA resorts* throughout the entire 2003-2004 season with no black-out dates and it is completely transferable.
“We buy Gold Passes every year to share with our customers. You can’t beat it because it is so convenient to buy, easy to use, and we can transfer it among our clients on a daily basis,” said Sheri Beckman of Frontier Refining & Marketing, Inc. “And the best part is that it makes our clients feel special. They love the prestige of wearing the Gold Pass.”
The Gold Pass is transferable to anyone including family members, friends, business associates or employees. Gold Pass members are entitled to direct-to-lift access privileges at most of CSCUSA’s 24 member resorts and the Gold Pass Concierge Service. The Gold Pass Concierge Service rewards members with regular electronic tips and insider information via e-mail about CSCUSA’s member resorts. Additionally, pass holders can access a specially-designed Gold Pass member-only web site including maps, lodging options, restaurant reviews, and more.
The Gold Pass will be offered at the special rate of $2,500 through October 1, 2003 when it will increase to $3,000.
“Gold Pass membership offers the ideal way to experience all that the Colorado mountain resorts have to offer, while supporting a key aspect of Colorado’s culture,” said Rob Perlman, President and CEO of Colorado Ski Country USA. “Individuals, corporations and small business should take advantage of this incredible offer that allows them, their families, friends and colleagues to get a taste of an epic Colorado winter.”
Launched over 25 years ago, the Colorado Gold Pass has been established as a prestigious pass granting access to Colorado ski country for individuals and organizations alike. Gold Pass revenue assists in funding CSCUSA’s marketing programs and enabling CSCUSA to increase support and participation in the ski and snowboard industry in Colorado.
