Sun Valley, ID, August 24, 2005- SCOTT USA is pleased to welcome Chris Coulter to its pro snowboard team. Coulter, a ripping rider and native of New Mexico, can be found these days tearing up the Salt Lake City scene.

“Coulter is such a well-rounded rider, he destroys it all; backcountry, park, and rails. It is great to have someone like Chris on board who people respect for his actions both on and off the hill”, states Scott Wintersport Team Manager Jonny Atencio. “I really look forward to working with him for years to come.”

Coulter can be seen this season in Absinthe’s new movie Futureproof.

Coulter’s personality is a perfect fit for Scott’s already strong, compact, and powerful team. Coulter responded when asked about getting on the program, “I am really excited to be a new member of the Scott team because now I have the eye protection I need for Roman candle fighting, paint ball, and even snowboarding.”

When Coulter isn’t on the snow, he can be found skating, mountain biking, and fixing up cars and motorcycles.

Coulter will join the rest of the SCOTT pro team: Josh Dirksen, Jeremy Jones, Shane Flood, Lindsey Jacobellis, Shin Campos, Shaun Durst, Kevin Pearce, Tyler Emond, Brian Regis, Mike Basich, and Kevin “Hexi Mexi” Casillo.
